Our journey started in 2008 when our family had to make some dramatic changes to our diet after discovering our children had food sensitivities that could eventually lead to serious health issues. Ever since that discovery, we have been on a mission to create healthy, fresh, and delicious food that nourishes and works with our bodies to achieve vibrant health.
Our products are gluten-free, dairy-free, free of refined sugar, and unprocessed and are chock full of good nutrients, alive with enzymes, and loaded with minerals. But most importantly, they taste great! We are committed to sharing our belief that in our over-processed world, good food can be medicine. We use eco-friendly packaging for our products. Our bowls are made from non-BPA plastic with a high percentage of recycled materials and are recyclable. Smoothie cups, straws, and spoons are made from 100% non-GMO plant starch and are compostable. We believe in choosing products that are best for the Earth and our customers.
We have established bins in-store for recycling and composting. Our dedicated recycling company turns over the recyclable bowls into new products. We have launched a composting program and hired a company to turn the compostable packaging, veggie and fruit scraps, and coffee grounds into compost and fuel.
We have installed energy-efficient equipment and a thermostat to minimize energy use in our store. We also purchase fresh produce from local sources daily to support the local environment and provide our customers with the freshest product possible.
